Our story
About TechBeachon
Clear, spec-first tech advice for people who would rather read the fine print than the marketing.
Why TechBeachon exists
Buying tech should be exciting, but it usually isn’t. Spec sheets are full of jargon, product pages exaggerate, and many “best of” lists are thin rewrites of each other. TechBeachon was built to do the opposite: read everything, compare everything, and then give you one clear recommendation — with the reasoning laid out so you can decide for yourself.
What we cover
We focus on the tech people buy most and research hardest: laptops, phones, audio, PC and gaming gear, smart home networking and wearables. Every article falls into one of four formats — Reviews, Best Of buying guides, Versus comparisons and Guides that explain the specs.
What we stand for
Clarity over hype
Every article ends with a clear answer. No endless “it depends”.
Specs with context
We explain what a number means for you, not just what it is.
No paid rankings
Brands cannot buy a spot, a score or a recommendation. Ever.
Always updated
When a better product arrives, our guides change with it.
How we make money
TechBeachon is reader-supported. When you buy through some of our links we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That income keeps the site independent and free to read — and it never influences what we recommend. Read our full affiliate disclosure and editorial policy.
